SENIOR PYTHON SOFTWARE ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and/or Hadoop.
• • Implement complex data transformations and aggregations to support big data analytics and reporting.
• • Optimize data retrieval and processing performance in large-scale environments.
• • Collaborate with data science teams to implement machine learning models and algorithms.
• • Ensure data integrity and system stability through comprehensive testing and error handling.
• • Lead the integration of big data technologies with existing systems and infrastructure.
• • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• • Proficiency in Python programming and big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Dagster.
• • Familiarity with messaging systems, specifically Apache Kafka.
• • Understanding of caching solutions like Redis.
• • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as CassandraDB and MongoDB.
• • English (right now Hungarian is enough)
