Balatonberény Solar Power Plant

ALTEO's self-implemented solar power plant in Balatonberény commenced commercial operation in July 2019. Built on a 13.4 hectare abandoned industrial site, the solar power plant has a nominal capacity of 6.2 MW, uses 26,784 pieces of 285 W polycrystalline solar cells and is connected to the public grid via the Keszthely substation, located about 13 km away.

The electricity produced by the power plant will be sold in the mandatory offtake system (KÁT) for 25 years, based on a permit issued by the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority.
