As a new milestone in domestic waste processing, our newly installed production line is capable of properly sorting and processing over 14,000 tonnes of waste collected through the deposit return system (DRS) annually. This will multiply ALTEO’s previous DRS processing capacity, positioning us as a key player in the pre-treatment of DRS waste in Budapest and Pest County.
However, this new facility is not only a milestone for ALTEO but is also of outstanding significance for the region: from now on, we will be able to handle a significant portion of the DRS waste generated in Budapest and Pest County.
